Born in Murano in 1934, Lino Tagliapietra is one of the world's best-known Venetian glassblower and artist. Gifted with an innate talent, he began working as an apprentice at the age of eleven and never stopped. Very curious and open-minded, at twenty-one he is already a 'Maestro'. He worked for the most important furnaces before setting up on his own. An unstoppable experimenter who lives in symbiosis with glass, he has played a decisive role in spreading Venetian glass culture throughout the world. Creativity, aesthetic qualities and prodigious technical skills are intertwined in his works. SIGNED AND LABELLED!
