A rare set of 8 matching "Deauville" chairs, designed for the dining room of the ocean liner "France" in 1962. Later they were manufactured by Airborne. Black lacquered tubular metal frame, red original moleskin cover, solid armrests, height-adjustable brass feet. The set dates from the 1960s and naturally suffers from imperfections to the upholstery. However, the foam is still functional and the chairs can either be used in their original condition or newly upholstered.

Condition: original vintage, imperfections consistent with age
